Madame Figaro, a leading French lifestyle and culture magazine, profiles Paris Opera Ballet étoile Léonore Baulac, highlighting her artistic journey and her commitment to sharing dance beyond the stage.

Equally at ease in classical and contemporary music, this star dancer of the Opera nevertheless has her feet firmly on the ground, campaigning for children’s right to education and gender equality.
She is currently rehearsing the role of Kitri in Don Quixote , which runs until January 2 at the Opéra Bastille in Paris. “It’s fun, festive, and very physically demanding,” she says, “but without the pressure you might feel in other ballets like Swan Lake or Raymonda .” Undaunted, she will then move on to Crystal Pite’s Body and Soul.
