She is currently rehearsing the role of Kitri in Don Quixote , which runs until January 2 at the Opéra Bastille in Paris. “It’s fun, festive, and very physically demanding,” she says, “but without the pressure you might feel in other ballets like Swan Lake or Raymonda .” Undaunted, she will then move on to Crystal Pite’s Body and Soul.
